मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में सोमवार को देश के प्रथम ग्रहमंत्री लोहपुरुष सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल की जयंती पर आयोजित राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस एवं सप्ताह का भव्य समापन किया गया। इस दौरान विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा के समक्ष विद्यार्थियों व एनएसएस की पांचों इकाईयों के स्वयं सेवकों ने प्राध्यापकों के साथ शपथ ली। कार्यक्रम समन्वयक प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन ने सरदार पटेल के जीवन पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डालते हुए राष्ट्र के प्रति सत्यनिष्ठा की शपथ दिलाई।
इसके साथ ही रन फॉर यूनिटी में करीब 250 स्वयं सेवकों ने प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम अधिकारी प्रो. देवप्रकाश दहिया, लव मित्तल, डा. पूनम रानी, डा. सोनी सिंह, डा. दीपशिखा के कुशल नेतृत्व में कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर कुलसचिव प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा, प्रो. दिनेश पांडे, योगाचार्य डा. शिवकुमार, उमेश शर्मा, रामगोपाल सिंह, सौरभ मिश्रा आदि थे। वहीं स्वयं सेवकों में मोहित बंसल, अनन्या पांडे, सुमित जुरैल, भरत हिंडोल, पलक दीवान आदि थे।
